Using wave and current measurements to improve hurricane preparedness in Colombia
Adaptation and mitigation measures for hurricanes affecting Colombia have been hampered by the lack of an in-situ meteorological and oceanographic observational network. To help plan for future events, CEMarin researchers have been employing modeling tools with in-situ wave and current measurements collected by Nortek’s AWAC acoustic wave and current profilers.
